Amret reduces interest rates again

Just two weeks after Amret reduced most of its fixed deposit rates, the Cambodian microfinance institution has cut rates again. This means that in just two weeks, some rates have been cut by more than 1 percentage point. The biggest cut was made to the 2-year fixed deposit in US dollars: 1.40 percentage points lower!

Interestingly, two weeks ago Amret raised its rates on deposits in KHR with monthly payouts and maturities of 4 and 5 years, but now they have already been cut. The increase for a 4 year term has been almost cancelled out, while the increase for a 5 year term has been halved.
